ATLANTA, Ga. (February 19, 2015) — Approximately 5.5 acres of Duluth commercial land with a leased mobile tower will sell at absolute auction Tuesday, March 10, in the first of two days of auctions featuring properties from 15 sellers. John Dixon & Associates will conduct both auctions at its headquarters in Marietta.
The land with the mobile tower is located at the southeast corner of Breckinridge Boulevard and Boggs Road, just east of the Interstate 85 split with Highway 316. Also selling will be commercial and residential land as well as approximately 16 houses, including homes in Buchanan, Lithonia and Stone Mountain.
“This auction will feature land not only from various lenders, but also from investors and individuals. These multi-seller auctions will become more common in the months to come as we accommodate the large number of property owners who want to sell at auction. By combining the assets from various sellers – about 15 in this case – we’re able to offer a wide selection of properties,” said John Dixon, president of the auction company.
“Most of the properties being offered March 10-11 are in Georgia, though we have a few pieces of land in Alabama. The nice thing about this format is that we can sell any kind of real estate for anybody, practically anywhere,” said Dixon.
Other highlights of the auctions include 60 acres of commercial land on Roundtop Road in Ellijay, a commercial condominium in Helen, and four broiler houses in Calhoun.
The auctions on both days will begin at 11 a.m. at the John Dixon & Associates offices at 200 Cobb Parkway North, Suite 120 in Marietta.
