Once the auction is done and you have signed the contracts, consider investing a little of the commission in a post-auction news release to show the world (and future sellers) what you’ve accomplished.

Tom Hayward asked for a little help promoting his auction in Wausau. Our release, and his own aggressive promotion of his auction, created a real stir. It’s always fun working with Tom, who has a contagious enthusiasm that makes him a great auctioneer.
Another nice hit for Pearce & Associates in Birmingham. You naysayers just keep explaining why you can’t get results because of changes in the news business. I’ll just keep giving reporters stories that meet their needs. We’ll see where it all shakes out.
