Productive Alabama catfish farming operation to sell at auction
NEWBERN, Ala. (May 28, 2009) –SouthFresh Fish Farm, a catfish farm with a strong record for productivity, will sell at absolute auction Friday, July 10, with Albert Burney Auction Company managing the sale.
The fish farming facility sits on approximately 897 acres and has two hatcheries, an office, equipment sheds, and 14 wells. It has 86 ponds ranging from approximately five to 30 acres that all have electricity provided for aeration.
