Lakeside home and four lakeside estates to sell at auction

LANDER, WY (June 2, 2010) -- A luxury lakeside home and four estate-size lakeside home sites in Lander, Wyoming, will sell at auction Saturday, July 17, with Albert Burney Auction Company handling the sale.
Taken as a whole, the property to be sold includes an 80-acre private lake and the surrounding land – 191 acres in all. And it could all sell to one buyer, or it could go to as many as five different buyers, according to Warren Ward, president of Albert Burney.

"This is an exciting sale because anything could happen," said Warren Ward, president of Albert Burney. "We could have one buyer who ends up with a lakeside home on 191 acres and a private lake, or we could have five buyers, because the property is being sold in five tracts, each of which includes a share of the lake."

One tract includes the existing home, a 2,079 square foot house sitting on 38.89 acres of lakeside land. The home has a deck stretching the entire length of the house overlooking the lake.

"This home offers some pretty magnificent views," said Ward. "The deck faces views of the lake and the Wind River Range of the Rockies, and is accessible through atrium doors to several areas of the house. This is a great area for bird watching too, with more than 129 species of birds living around that lake. "The other four tracts surrounding the lake range from 35 to 44 acres.
"These are incredible home sites," said Ward. "They would have the similar views to the existing home, and they would each own their own portion of the lake. This land is also a habitat for deer and antelope, and could make excellent hunting land. It’s really up to the buyers. There are lots of options here."

The auction will take place Saturday, July 17, and auction representatives will be available on site for inspections from July 10 to the auction date.
